Reading the previous reviews, and being hungry in the area, we decided to stop and try Rosie's. We were one of the only groups there (there were 4 of us.) Soon some couples came in and were seated, their orders were taken first. We got our menus about 15 minutes after we seated ourselves. We ordered another 20 minutes after getting the menus. The one server was tending to all of the tables, the service was slow. Our food came an hour and 10 minutes after arriving. One order was completely wrong, and that took another 10 minutes to fix while the rest of us ate. The restaurant is dirty, flies are flying everywhere, and the booths were not cleaned. The fries were soggy, and the food in general was borderline, and okay. When we finished we waited over 20 minutes for the tab. This whole dining experience put us over 2 hours behind in our road trip, I would not recommend stopping here if you want a good, quick bite to eat.
MoreMuch more than we had expected! An impromptu trip from vegas to Arizona with the family. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Very friendly
MoreWhat a great place for breakfast served all day! A.J. my server was a sweetheart ❤️There is a open food market open 24 hours a day. I suggest if you like CLEAN BATHROOMS you “HAVE TO” stop here! It’s so clean like a 5 star hotel! Very very impressed 🙃
MoreA perfect brunch place on your way to Grand Canyon. Good choices of menu, quality food, and generous portion size, and then add warm smiles! A gem oasis in the middle of desert!
MoreA must visit even if it is in the middle of nowhere. Only time I was disappointed when I took my wife there and it had burned to the ground. They have rebuilt and they are bigger and better.
MoreCool little place, was stopping for lottery tickets, but great place for lunch atmosphere AWESOME
MoreRosie's den cafe has been in business for quite a long time nice place to grab a burger ,fries and a beer or two after a long ride from Vegas. Update --- heard from a friend that Rosies den cafe & bar. Had closed. For good sad to think it might be true but I hope not!!!
MoreGreat place just before to reach the Grand Canyon. You can eat great sandwiches and is the usual place you can find in the American movies. The waiter is very nice . There is also a petrol station and you can buy in advance the tickets for Grand Canyon jumping the lines.
MoreGood food and service on a stop to Grand Canyon.
Nice Cafe with a rustic ambience. Friendly servers. They are open to do customizatios and modifications as per your liking.
MoreI FINALLY got to enjoy this AWSUM place!! Great food, wonderful atmosphere!
Great food! Friendly service though she seemed overwhelmed and forgot some of order. Still would go again and enjoy some excellent tamales. 😋
MoreGood honest little roadside place. Really good food, even though there were not a ton of options. The waitress mentioned that they were in the middle of redoing their menu. So maybe that will change soon.
MorePop in when ever I'm in the area for the last 20 years. Sad the original building is gone but a great rebuild. Staff are exceptional, good food too. Can't wait to visit again.
MoreAn oasis in the desert! If you're passing through on your way to Las Vegas do yourself and your passengers a great big favor! Avoid all those overcrowded and bland chain/nationally branded places down the road in Kingman and experience some good old fashioned roadside restaurant chow. There is a separate bar area with ice cold beer for a hot morning/afternoon/evening (dry heat or no). And yes it's definitely worth making a U- turn if you drive or ride by.
MoreIt took 20 to get our drinks and another 20 minutes to place our order. Someone's order was placed and delivered and they were sat after us. The icing on the cake. The server that should have been taking our order placed an order for herself and ran into the back to eat it. When we finally got half of our order I asked where the rest of the food was and she had an attitude. Saying that it's coming. Then I heard her informing the cooks that she needed pancakes and sausage links. I canceled that part of the order. Never again. I think the manager came to swoop to the rescue to help this server. She was amazing! Hire another server. If a server can't even grab the first round of drinks for their table... that's a problem. It wasn't even busy!
MoreCute little cafe/gift shop about 50 miles South of Vegas on Hwy 93. Good old comfort food and a good place to pick up lottery tickets.(at the gas station next door)
MoreBurgers and breakfast burrito were good. Everything else not so much. Salad and dressing was overly watery, and fries over cooked. Service was very slow. It seemed like they were understaffed and a bit disorganized. We waited for like 30 minutes for some extra salad dressing, before I finally went up to the bar, and even then was ignored for another 15 minutes. Finally we had to yell at someone coming by to even get it.
MoreThe food was wonderful and hospitality was above average, fun people!! Sad it closed...
MoreAs always their cheese burger is outstanding. Plus the homemade chips are great and hot.
MoreHeaded from Grand Canyon to Vegas and stopped at this place and glad I did. Great story, great staff, great food. Make sure you make a stop!
MoreThis place has the best potatoes I have ever had in my life. I will remember them until I die.
MoreGood food. Nice atmosphere. Gift shop. Very friendly. In the middle of nowhere.
Stopped in for breakfast and a hot cup of coffee. Was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming staff and good food. Place has alot of character and will definitely be stopping in again next time passing through. Fresh biscuits served with chunks of sausage and a Denver omelette with hash browns. All cooked perfectly, can't go wrong.
MoreBig lottery ticket day. They helped people move through really well
Takes too long just to take our order and getting our order. People just left with out getting their food. 1 guy in the back cooking and he keep missing up the orders. We will not be going back and almost every weekend we in that part of Arizona. They should get a star, so people if you want to wait then by all means give it a try.
MoreThis is a fine place to grab a bit on the run! love the fries! This is a very good and the only in miles to grab a bite, the place is not that expensive and the food is great! We stop by and chat with the waitress a bit, the customer service was good, and so were the fries!
MoreThe best bacon EVER. We are driving from Vegas to Rosie’s in the morning 3/21/17. We cannot wait to eat there. All the way from Cincinnati - because Rosie ‘s is THAT good!!!
MoreGreat diner to stop and grab something to eat. Staff was great and the food was delicious. Would recommend getting their fries they are phenomenal!
MoreGREAT place for breakfast! About half way between Vegas & Kingman on US93. We had read other reviews, so we stopped, while on a cross country trip. Food is great, large portions, wonderful taste, excellent coffee, reasonable price. If you are leaving Vegas OR on the way, this is the place to stop.
MoreWe hit this place upon a tour March 29 2017.A repeat visit.Well, years back, the location has been more 'wild and western style'. Nowadays it became a more commercial (souvenir shop is too much extended).Breakfast we had has been wonderful.Still an interesting place to go.
MoreWe didn't stop there just took pictures of Roses Place because it looks Cool😊👀 we will check it out next time coming thru.
MoreIf you are looking for a good meal, and you are on this beautiful stretch of road, stop in. Though it seems like a biker diner, families and all types of traveling folks are welcome. Tasty, traditional mid-west fare served by wonderful staff. Lots of local charm.
MoreWe really enjoyed our visit. The burgers were great. The waitress was very nice. The prices were fair. We would definitely go back.
MoreLittle bit of wait on food but it was really delicious. Could tell food was homemade and not frozen. Really wish they had true sweet tea but apparently none does in this area.
MoreGreat service, cool joint! A hidden gem in the desert! I felt right at home with my family of 7. We were offered a large table in the bar area so we had plenty of room, and were able to play free pool while we waited for our food! We will be back next time we come through!
MoreAbsolutely fantastic great food the waitress pounded out the food took orders and cooked fantastic job talk about a raise you go girl see you next time
MoreThe food and atmosphere was great!!! They are an hour away from me and I will travel back here again. I had the "3 Rosie's sliders" and they were AWESOME cooked to perfection. Rosie's Den Cafe is a must go!!!
MoreGreat place. Stopped after motocross at Western Raceway and ate a great meal. Service was fast and friendly. One of the best Reubens I have eaten and the staff put up with a bunch of hungry racers, what more could you ask for?
MoreThis dive cafe has the most amazing Arizona Omelettes. Seriously incredible. Even their French Toast is pretty good. But their breakfast potatoes are overcooked and dry.
MoreI love my family at Rosie’s Den & Saloon it’s a one of the best places to get away for the afternoon shame they are selling it but I’ll probably be dead from congestive heart failure from a very hard life but before they sell it... and if you get a chance to experience Rosies Den do it you will be glad you did....!!!!
MoreWelcome Oasis on the road out of Vegas. Good selection of solid food, fried cheese for the vegetarian in our group. Friendly waitresses (and good manager, who complimented the kitchen crew for work well done!). Also a bar in back, and a gift shop in between. Outdoor seating in season. Even a guest book—this seems to be real community. Fun photos ops of bike & train out front. I understand they'd closed after a fire, but like a Phoenix (150 miles away)...
MoreI love this place, it reminds me of good old days of road tripping with my family. They sell lotto tickets and have good eats too.
MoreOK. So I get that Rosie's Den Restaurant has been around forever. And rebuilt several times...But, in all honesty, since Rosie passed away and her son, Brad, started managing - It just simply isn't 'Rosie's' like anyone remembers. The food isn't the same (My main complaint being that EVERY time i go in there and order breakfast, the eggs are NEVER done.) The service is definitely not the same. The whole atmosphere just isn't 'Rosie's' anymore. It is a shame. It was an incredibly awesome place when Rosie was still around...If I had to recommend anything about this place to people, it would be to drive right by and skip it - go the extra 40 miles into Kingman. For both price and quality.
MoreAbsolutely amazing diner to take the family too! Serving sizes are perfect and the price is definitely reasonable and affordable! Super friendly staff that is very prompt with service! There is a separate section for their saloon with amazing lighting, decor, lounging, and even a dance floor! If you're in the area Rosie's is definitely the place to stop, you won't leave hungry or broke!
